John R. Murray, 57, of Lincoln, passed peacefully on May 10, 2021 in Providence, RI. He was the beloved husband of Jennifer A. (Nesbitt) Murray. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Raymond and Arlene (Kingsbury) Murray.
John was a laborer for the Town of Lincoln for many years and was a member of the Smithfield Elks Lodge #2359. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially camping, kayaking, gardening, and going to the beach with his family. His presence will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
Besides his loving wife, he is survived by his four children, Madison, Michael, Jacob and Reiley Murray; six siblings, Beverly LaPrade, Diane Beland, Joseph Murray and wife Kimberly, Matthew Murray and wife Mary Ann, Carlene Hughes and husband William, Theodore Murray and wife Melanie; a sister-in-law, Linda Murray; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was the brother of the late Thomas and Raymond Murray.
His funeral will begin at 8:30am on Friday, May 14th at Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln, followed by a Mass of Christin Burial at 10:00am in St. Jude Church, 301 Front St., Lincoln. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket. Calling hours will be Thursday, May 13th from 4:00 – 7:00pm. Relatives and friends are invited.
